Hi there fellow Wing Chun fanatic —
It’s Rob here from WingChunLife.com.
I made a few minor changes to the Wing Chun Life website. The one that concerns you most is that I’ve refocused the Wing Chun Community page.
Initially, it was intended for Wing Chun schools to promote their seminars, special events, and fundraisers. But it pretty much died on arrival. It was a good idea, but poorly executed.
A few sleepless nights ago I thought about how I could get this page to be better. How could I get in touch with Wing Chun schools so they knew this resource existed to promote their events, at no charge?
But then, weary-eyed, I started reading some contributions and e-mails from Wing Chun fans like you.
Some thanked me for the website, some of it was spam, but what really stood out were all the interesting stories readers shared with me about their wing Chun life.
And then it hit me.
This is a community. It’s about sharing our unique story and experience with Wing Chun. It’s about expressing what Wing Chun means to each of us.
What’s Wing Chun mean to you?
I updated the Wing Chun community page to better highlight and showcase some of the wonderful and funny stories fans from around the world have shared.
I’m sure, you have your own unique take to tell others.
Use this venue to share and show-off and have a bit of fun with Wing Chun. Don’t worry, I won’t make you do push-ups if you get out of hand.
I’d like to invite you to do three things:
1) Visit the Wing Chun Community page page and read some of the great stories your kung fu brothers and sisters have left behind;
2) Share an interesting experience or two in your Wing Chun journey. Scroll down the page to find the contribution form;
3) Let other Wing Chun fans know, so they can share their stories, too. Just forward them this email.
It should be a lot of fun…
Rob
